Narendra Modi Prime
Minister left for Myanmar on November 11 2014, from there he planned to go to
Australia and then to Fiji. As he flew, he again invited people for share “ideas
and thoughts" on his Australia trip.
During tour of 10 days, PM Modi will be in talks
with Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia in Canberra after the annual
summit with 20 world’s emerging and biggest developed economies. From November 15 in Brisbane the two-day G20
summit will be held.
After Rajiv Gandhi’s visit
to Australia in 1986, Modi will be the first Indian Prime minister to visit
Australia and also he is the first Indian Prime minister to visit south island
after 33 years to Fiji, where Indira Gandhi visited in 1981.
PM Modi will attend the East Asia Summit and the
ASEAN-India summit in Myanmar on Wednesday and Thursday.
Next for the G-20 summit he will go to Brisbane
and then to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne in the course of his visit from
November 16 to 18.
PM Modi in Canberra will also address a joint meet
of the Federal Parliament.
Mr Abbott will be hosting a reception which was
for Mr Modi at 161-year-old Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Indian Australian group has planned for
reception at Olympic park, expecting more than 27,000 people to attend.
PM Modi will be meeting about more than 40
leaders which include around 20 bilateral meetings with Britain, South Korea,
Germany and china leaders during his three-nation tour.
